Looking for partners, Pm for more details

The quick version is that in June I have a contract to lead backpacking trips out of Anchorage, and Id like to maximize my time in AK by going for Denali's West Buttress in May. I'm just beginning the planning phase now including searching for partners. In the US I've climbed Rainier and Shasta, internationally I've climbed Cotopaxi Cayambe in Ecuador, and Peak Lenin (7k meters) in Kyrgyzstan all or which were unguided private party trips. I'm willing to consider a more technical route if I had a more technically advanced leader

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
I've just started to plan our trip, but we are thinking about West Buttress which is easiest than West Rib you want. If you'll change your mind you can join us as a single group - it seems we have similar experiences.... my peakclimber profile

Mike I am planing to go in June 16, still looking for partner(s) or join a party. I have been couple times (2012 and 2013) on the West buttress route (unguided) and I want to give it another shot for the summit. I have successfully climb Aconcagua (Polish Glacier), Chimborazo (Tielman Glacier/ Veintimilla summit), Ritacuba Blanco, Mt.Rainier (DC route) just to mention some important climbs to my experience, also I have some WI climbing experience. I am not consider my self as a Technical Advanced Climber but I have enough experience to deal with big mountains and expeditions like Denali. I know you are going on May, just in case if you change your mind to try on June, please let me know before mid April (dead line for permits is 60 days before the climbing starts).

Hey Everyone, I just did something stupid and took a big promotion at work and can no longer take the time off this spring or summer. I am being relocated to Anchorage though, so if anyone would like some help with logistics, rides to and from the airport, a place to crash while you buy supplies, whatever I can do to help, just ask and I'd be stoked to help you

I'm looking for a partner for Denali in May or June ( I'm wide open as for dates), would be interested in the west rib or a more technical route depending on weather conditions and partner. If your interested shoot me a message... We can chat details. I have lots of mountain experience, my partner bailed because of something to do with "responsibilities " and I don't want to solo it and fall in an Icy hole of doom.

mlloyd - we just lost a partner (due to new job) and there are 2 left. Interested in new partners.
Our plans were simplest: West Buttress. Not sure if we can take more challenging route as none of us has Denali experience.
But anyway, we are open. Plan was for June 2 to 25.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
