Description This is one route right of Philibuster, and like Philibuster, would be a lot more fun if a couple of clips were moved down. However, there's a legitimate reason for the hard clips -- this route was bolted ground up. I'm not sure what the "logic" behind Philibuster was. Def Jam climbs the light blue and black streaked wall right of Philibuster into overhanging, blocky territory through a finishing bulge. With some bouldery moves through the middle and pumpy business up high, this route is in your face until the anchors. Despite the fact that it doesn't get done much it is a quality line, and will only clean up with travel. Get ready to crimp!
Protection 10 quickdraws.

| This thing felt at least as hard as Poetic Justice, maybe harder. It's also similar to, and a tad easier than Philibuster, with a sustained crimpy section to a good rest near the top, followed by a final pump to the anchors. It's pretty fun once the draws are hanging but there are a couple of big, wiggly blocks you have to pull on. |
