Description Start on the first half of "Wisdom." Climb until you get to the crystal that you use to toss out right to the flakes on "Wisdom." Look left and you will see a nice horizontal crack/seam. Crimps like mad as you traverse left into the middle of the project left of "Wisdom." Finish the middle and upper section of this project.
Not as hard as the direct version, but it's still going to be a classic when it goes... and it won't be long!!!
Location From the 1st parking lot take the Sisters trail until it meets up with the Ponderosa. Take a left (west) for about 50 yards and look up to your right and you will see this tall steep wall called the "Wisdom Wall" about 100 or so yards up hill. Once you have got it spotted just keep your eye on it as you continue to bush whack your way up to the steep tall madness of the "Wisdom Wall."
Protection Many, many pads and at least two spotters!!! Big fall potential!!!

| Almost got this freakin' thing today!!! Fell at the left hand move to the under-cling/gaston which is the last hard move before sticking your right into a nice jug system!!!!!!
I think I failed because of being crazy pumped and the fear of the fall, as I had no spotters.. at all. Nonetheless, I took the huge crater fall and hit my pads so hard that I was tossed back up into the air and then onto the ground next to my pads!!! It's the longest fall I have ever had bouldering and it was nuts!! Not going to try this one until I get a crew out to put this thing away. It's going to be classic, man!! Classic!! |
