Dave Baker Presents "Tucson Climbers, Tucson Climbing: 1967-1987"

Summit Hut founder and Tucson native Dave Baker will share 20 years of photographs, adventure, and tall tales of Tucson climbers in action during the exciting, formative years of southern Arizona’s rich rock climbing scene. See photos of dozens of first ascents and early climbs on classic routes in the Santa Catalina Mountains, Cochise Stronghold and Baboquivari Peak, all drawn from Baker’s original photo collection. Climbers photographed include Mike McEwen, Joanna McComb, Steve Grossman, Mark Axen, and Kem Johnson to name just a few.

This is a great show if you are interested in Southern Arizona climbing history. Just seeing the climbing gear and clothing is entertaining.
