BETA PHOTO: The Classic, though unfortunately named "Maxipad" DescriptionNamed for its lack of sunlight, Dark Canyon is home to the standout classic Maxipad. This is a good area for hot days. Getting TherePark at the same place as the No Substance boulder, 2.7 miles up the canyon. Walk down and cross the creek, then follow the trail a little ways up the canyon to the boulders. The ClassicsMountain Project's determination of some of the classic, most popular, highest rated routes for Dark Canyon:
