Description Suggest change

Cuthroat climbs a steep slab near the center of Trout Rock. The route is about 25' right of Griffon and 10' left of Greenback.

Climb a short corner, placing a green Alien for pro, and work up to the first bolt. Layback a thin edge to the second bolt. Make some thin slab moves (crux) past the second bolt. Continue up to the third bolt then angle right to the 2-bolt anchor shared with Greenback. Lower.

You may want a directional piece (green or yellow Alien or #2 Camalot) above the third bolt before traversing to the 2-bolt anchor if your partner is going to top-rope the pitch. The move past the third bolt is non-trivial, and there's a swing potential if they come off.

Protection Suggest change

A green Alien (".5-.8" cam) in the starting corner, then 3 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor shared with Greenback.
