Description This classic is the route that most people end up climbing when venturing up to the Candlestick Wall. The first pitch is a 120 foot 5.9 pitch brings you to the amazing belay ledge below "The Red Line" and "Crystal Flame". This Ledge also has a cave that you can tunnel through to gain the start of the Candlestick and the Thai Stick.(...or half way up the first pitch you can split to the right to gain this upper cave entrance). 2nd pitch climbs steep crystal-lined pockets up into the surprising "Glowing Tunnel". There's an optional belay at the base of the vertical tunnel above... Continue up the Glowing Tunnel for another 50' of 5'7 chimneying to the belay perch at the top of the THAIWAND.
Protection Titanium bolts and threads protect this 240' climb. For the descent, rappel back down the same route...
