Description 

Crystal Bay Boulder may be one of the sunniest places in Tahoe to climb. This huge south-facing boulder touts a couple of Tahoes best off-width routes which are also very easily accessible for top-rope climbers. The boulder is located within a few hundred yards of homes so lets keep this place quiet despite the often loud grovel-fest.

Getting There 

A couple miles after passing from California into Nevada on Hwy. 28, take a left onto Amagosa Rd., then left on Wassou Rd., then right on Tuscarora and then take your second right on Wellesey Way. Fallow this for a few hundred feet until it dead-ends at a dirt pullout. The boulder is a stone's throw up and to the left.
