I just added a photo album and this is how I did it. Look at your name at the top right of each page. Click on your name and 3 menu option appear. Click on "Your Page". At "Your Page" look for "Photo Albums by (you)". Next to it see a link to, "Add New Album". You will have to name the album and you can add a description. Submit it and then you can add photos to the album, one at a time. Now if I can only figure out how to connect the photos in the album to a specific climbing area!?

PD, what you described will make a "personal" photo album. To add photos to a route or area, you go to that route/area page, and add photos there.

Figured how to add to an area or route after I last posted. There are two optional buttons for adding photos on a route or area page. The first button "Add Photo" allows you to upload a photo directly from your computer to the page. The second button, " Add Photo (Copy)" allows you to link photos that have already been uploaded to Mountain Project, such as photos in your personal album. In this case each photo has an ID#. Copy that ID# and paste it in the window of the Add Photo (Copy) page.

I've got an album created, but can't get a photo in. I'm trying to get from photos on my phone to MP, on my phone, so I was typing in the title if the photo (begins with IMG_), then I tried typing in path (begins /storage), neither works. Yes, I am semi-to-mostly clueless, that's why I'm asking. I don't have desktop and internet access at home, so I was trying to work through the phone. Thanks!

You cannot add a photo from the phone. Sorry, but you need a computer.
