Casper, Mountain Garden creek falls
Cool thread. I have been wondering what winter climbing options there are here in our bad ass state. I've thought about finding a easy multi pitch climb in the winter to climb in a mixed style. Something maybe in linville or something like that. Im going to have to check out what has already been posted. Now Ive lived here in NC my whole life so I am familiar with how our winter can turn out, with that being said how big of a storm would we need to have for any routes turn out? Any help you salty climbers can provide will definitely help me get started. Also I have no ice experience so if anyone wanted to teach a young enthusiastic climber How to climb NC ice that would be stellar! happy climbing guys! William Rhyne
