Couldn't find anything...

Went to Blair Woods for the first time today, hoping to find the warm up area for some easy climbs. Felt like a real dummy because I couldn't figure out how to get there. I parked in the boat launch parking lot, crossed the bridge, took an immediate right and took a left at the top of the small hill where there is a pretty sizable Boulder. The trail disappears shorty after. Never found the junction or the small stone wall.

Has anyone else had this problem or could maybe help me out?

I got lost in Blair Woods back in April when there was still snow on the ground and it was hard to tell where the trail was. We took a left at the fork thats past the cairns and ended up walking around for almost 2 hours without finding the warm up area. Don't feel too bad!

The warm up area is the farthest area and definitely the hardest to find. From your description, it sounds like you didn't stay on the trail long enough. You will cross the bridge and the trail cuts right beneath a huge boulder (is this the sizeable boulder you are talking about? It has another boulder behind it that you can't see from below) up on a hill. Stay on the path for a few hundred feet as it snakes up into the woods. You walk further than you think you should and eventually get to the stone wall. From there, you really need a map.
