Description Suggest change

Contrived Crimpers is the name due to eliminating the crack, everything right of the crack as an option, and only using the crimpers after the start.

The start is on the obvious sidepull to the left.

There are three good crimpers above the start hold. There is a good mono finger next to a good crimper 4 feet above that and to the right near the crack. Stand, and there is a good crimper to the left. Then top out!

Your feet start on the block under the overhang, and then you move onto the face on the obvious foot options.

Location Suggest change

This route is on the South side of Mental Block. The start is on the Southwest portion of the boulder. It's slabby and a tiny bit positive.

The downclimb is on the east side of Mental Block.

This climb is above and behind Tiger Rock.

Protection Suggest change

There are no bolts, no fixed gear, and no anchors at the top. I recommend two pads, one for the fall if you pull off at the start and one for the slope if you land on your feet (it is sort of rocky to the right).
