Description This route is used mainly as an easy way to get to the top of the rock from Paisano Ledge. The climbing is easy except for one face move by a bolt. Above the bolt, there is a 60 foot runout on 4th and easy 5th class rock.
Protection one bolt and a mix of small to medium gear

| My first exposed lead on suicide. This was in 1972. I climbed it in mountaineering boots, no lie, and the rope(?) was a doubled nylon laid 5/16" USMC green utility rope. So the rope was too short and we had to simulclimb the last 20~30 feet to that big exfoliation slab that came down in about 2003… No wonder I got into alpinism! |
