Zion chossy peak traversing

Two friends, Ben Horne (of San Diego) and Gil Weiss (of Boulder), are missing in the Cordillera Blanca.

A ground search found their tracks leading to the summit, down a ridge, then nothing. Friends and family are trying to coordinate an air search. Gil's sister is talking to the US Embassy. Any contacts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Michelle

Thanks! my understanding is that Casa de Guias is already involved. I will pass on Chris' info to Gil's sister. He was recommended by another person.

Try contacting Ted Alexander. He and his wife own/run Skyline Adventure School in Huaraz, Peru. Ted is an American and has been there a long time and knows the area very, very well. He may be of some help.
