hi all,

anyone know what the North Ridge of Lone Pine is looking like this time of year? im considering doing it this weekend and was wondering how much snow it might have. would boots/crampons/ice ax be necessary for sections of the climb/descent or could you get by with less?

There is a big storm coming through CA. Seems like there will be not too much snow fall in Lone Pine, but I would expect snow on route, and low temps up there. Sunday high of 25F at altitude. Yosemite Valley may be more enjoyable. But have fun doing whatever you decide!
