Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment
|
|
Description Thin fingers up the underside of this perfectly rounded boulder problem with nothing for the feet, less an initial heelhook. This climb appears more probable than it is, and is a short but stout boulder problem/TR.
Location Follow the trail from Tower Two face into the bush and up to the next rock. Going past and tunneling through to backside of the rock can give one access to climb down the rock to set up the TR
Protection Two bolts for TR

| Ideally this tops out, but you get the idea. V6-8, needs more ascents for a consensus. |

| Dan, nice work. I did it from the sit on finger locks trailing a right heel hook, though I somehow missed the beta for the original problem because I fell off the top a bunch of times. I can't comment on the grade as it was a couple of years ago and I was tired at the end of the day. Also, I was under the impression that it had been done before as when I was on it (June of 2010) there was chalk all the way to the bottom. Cool problem! Thanks for posting all these videos Dan! Gets me psyched for that place! |
