Description This is a nice, moderate, fat ice route. It is just a short distance from the trail to Chasm Lake. There is a steep start for 30? feet to a low angle slab. It is 120 feet total. Walk off to the right. There are multiple variations possible. There is another moderate flow to the left. There is an interesting flow down low close to the pool.
Protection A few screws.
Toprope Protection A few screws.

CONDITION REPORT | This route is in and FAT! Best ice in the park right now, the 4 mile hike is completely worth it! There is evidence that people have climbed it, and you can hook most of the way up, but it's still in great shape. The line to the left is WI4 the line on the right is WI3+. Great blue ice, little brittle and bulletproof though due to how cold it was when we were up there.

| Light snow and slick trail approach. Ice is in although somewhat thin, stream is poking through in a couple of places. We toproped w/ 60m rope, 3 screws backed up w/50 feet of webbing to a nearby boulder. |

| Columbine froze up quite well in late December, but as of now it's melting, the far left is the most solid, but the right has the WI-3+(if you like frozen slurpies at 7-11). |
