Has anyone climbed any of the routes on the Columbia Buttress in Revelstoke? 16 pitches that are all 50-60m. There is a 10a and a 10b route that look tempting, but I want to collect more info before committing.
Questions -I am assuming only the bottom pitches are bolted, as this is what the guidebook shows. However, I have read some descriptions that say the cruxes are bolted on the harder pitches. Anyone have any info? -Most Revy climbing is pretty overhung. Is this the same? The pictures actually look pretty slabby -Rock quality/Availability of placements? Rock generally seems good, but anyone have any info on this rock specifically?
Obviously I am not going to get on a 16 pitch climb until I am completely comfortable with sustained climbing at the grade, long pitches, etc. However, the more info I can get, the better.
