Best camping near Eldorado canyon?

Hey all, I'm stopping by the eldo area later in the week and was wondering where the closest best camping is in the Boulder area? Carter lake, golden gate(?) park? Any info would be great!

Best option for many people is the free camping just past Nederland at the "West Magnolia" trailhead. It's freezing there at night these days.

If you live near excellent climbing, try getting a couch-swap with a local. It's not like there are not a lot of climbers around boulder.

This place looks pretty sweet... it's not in Eldo but close by. (Yes, I have been waiting to use this one.)

You could always try pitching a tent on Baseline Rd

no more camping in fourmile or at Boulder Mountain Lodge..sorry. AND NO CAMPFIRES!

Was talking about this with a buddy yesterday in Estes while poaching a favorite spot . . . I'm not sure what everyone is talking about regarding Eldo. I always find great spots to camp out there . . . usually a foot or so below any given crux. Really like Frosty's Flatiron spot in this thread.
