slab

Description

Start right in the middle of the boulder. Easy first couple of moves up and past the big crack running through the base, then the slab begins. There are definitely holds the whole way, and the feet are virtually everywhere, with 'good' feet interspersed throughout as well. Continously harder moves as you move up the rock, with the final moves possibly being the crux. You can go straight up for a harder variation, or cut right at the top to the decent incut crimp. Good problem, highball, mentally challenging to commit the final moves

Location

Heading up the trail, before you get to the first noticable boulder problem on the left, cut right on a little trail heading down. This is right after you ascend the rock staircase coming up the trail, and 'come around the corner'. You can see the top of the slab from here.

Protection

Two pads are better than one, with a spotter adding that extra layer of comfort

Took this off my todo list. It's an awesome highball problem with the crux right at the top. But i'm not bold enough to do it..

Great problem...with spicy finish...very rewarding if you don't fall.
