Cascade Boulders (Mile Marker 268).

Description

Boulders scattered along a steep hillside just off US Highway 6 in CCC. Maverick's boulder is fairly easy to access, very nice rock, I believe it is gneiss....more info in one of the Colorado bouldering guides.

Getting There

Heading west on US Highway 6 from Golden, park at mile marker 268. The boulders are across the street and up the hill. The Maverick's boulder is pretty huge and obvious and takes only a few minutes to get to from the bottom.
