There is something to climb on that road. Maybe not worth the drive all the way there if you don't have to, but if you plan to camp out there it is nice to know you can climb!
On Poudre Canyon, make a left on Pingree Park Road.
There is climbing on the CSU Pingree Campus along with just below at the Campground, I think it is called Tom Bennet campground
