More like 5.8 with a bad fall or two if you hit the ledges.

I'm not sure exactly how many bolts there are on Churchill Rejects these days, but I extended the route a couple of years ago or so and it now has about 8 or 9 bolts plus the anchors.

Sam... do you know the distance to the ground from the new anchors? Thanks...

This route is not too long. A 50m will get you up and to the ground no problem.

Nice 5.9. Many bolts for the length of the climb. This is nice considering that the rock may not be 100% bomber in places. Fun route that I'm sure I'll climb many times in the future. Good warmup for the 5.10 and 5.11 climbs nearby.

Be wary of rockfall from the gully above while belaying or walking by the base of this climb. A toaster-sized block fell and luckily broke up before it crushed my treking poles while climbing this one day. My poles and pack where on the farside of the trail from the climb.

Bolts are about five feet apart. I would not want to fall because of all the ledges on this route. I was my first Poudre River sport lead though.

This route is a good warmup. My favorite to take non climbing friends to toprope, because they can all seem to make it up.
