Description

You can't miss it.... It's a huge slabby boulder that sits next to the approach trail. While walking back to your car from a day of climbing, you may notice that it has a bolt anchor on top. I always say to my partner; "Hey, this thing looks fun. Let's top rope it real quick...." Knowing darn well they will be too tired to bother. Especially since we are only a couple minutes from the car. Well, I finally got called out and had to actually climb it!

Not the proudest rock on the ridge. I'm only posting it in case you have a few minutes to kill on the way home and the energy for some challenging, crumbling slab. It's an easy scramble up the back to set a TR.

Getting There

From the new parking lot this thing is about .6 miles and lies on the right side of the trail, just after the little gate and before the forks that lead to the other crags....

If anyone knows the name of this or the FA....
