These two areas could be considered one area. They are given individual names primarily for historical reasons. The New and The Corporate Playground are located in the upper canyon, a couple hundred feet east of the power line, below and east of The Playground (sport area). Find a tiny little wooden bridge, just east of the power line on The Inner Canyon Trail. The New consists of the boulders which have tumbled down the hillside, below the rim. This section is home to classics such as: Shred of Dignity V5, a traverse on a south facing, overhanging wall. The Tombstone V7, a north facing finger pocket problem, slightly east of Shred of Dignity. The New V2-V5, a west facing, colorful short wall just east of Tombstone. Many other choice problems abound in this section. The Corporate Playground is the name given to the problems in this area which are on the cliff rim proper. This section is left of The Corporate View Block and is mainly straight up, thin problems and traverses.
