Description

Excellent ice with simple approaches. It's in all winter. Good for beginners yet you can find some tough lines. Some of these ice falls are very photogenic tourist attractions too. Located out of the way, so if you are up for the drive you should have it all to yourself.

Getting There

All of the climbing is located on or near Colo.149 between Creede and Lake City. This area of Colorado doesn't get as much snow as one would think, especially located on the fringe of the San Juans.

Although the No Name climbs in North Creede really never came in this year, they are melted out now. Try again next winter.
