Boy do I remember. I helped make that pile and then another and watch stuff melt out over the summer. The walls on the old cabin were 18'' of stone and mortar. The rafters there are 12''. Got to help make the new one too. So much for wilderness management, but then there is the rescue stash there for NPS.

I passed the wreckage after some of the snow had melted and remember finding a lot of York Peppermint Patties. My buddy and I were able to graze for about and hour or so.
