Dude and Sarah traversing on Ridge Gap Wall. A nic...

Description

Ridge Gap Wall has an excellent slightly overhanging traverse and a couple of thought provoking up problems in the V0+ range. The V1 traverse is often done left to right and is the main attraction.

Getting There

Ridge Gap Wall is located a bit further up the trail than the Fins and Classy Wall. It's the last major chalked up area and right of a major break in the Sanitas ridge, hence the name. Just down hill is a soft sandstone formation.

The traverse can be made pretty challenging. Erosion has exposed a rock ledge that you could stand on, that makes the traverse go at V1-. If you don't use the lower easy feet, it is more V3-V4.
