I just don't understand this photo....are you doing a full 360 degree rotation?

Kind of- I was stemmed low and kept pushing higher until I had my back to the roof and was coming out horizontally. I remember looking directly down at Jo while she belayed and talking about the position and gear. Eventually I threw the right hand up in the crack on what as you can see in that shot. I dropped down and out onto it, spinning around to face the other way and then pulled over the roof on it. It was amazingly secure, really.

That is how I remember doing it and seeing a leader do it. It is pretty exciting facing out in to the void. Chimney up to a roof and then kick out round to the face and crack. Fun Fun.
