Description 

Mount of the Holy Cross, which stands at 14,005, is a very scenic mountain hidden away in the northen part of the Sawatch Range near Vail. It contains no technical difficulties; however, it possess some good moderate snow climbs. Its north ridge route is a very popular fourteener hike, and the summit can be crowded.


Getting There 

Take exit 171 off of I-70. Then go south on US 24, and turn right on Tigiwon Road. Take Tigiwon road to Halfmoon Trailhead.

I was recently in the area and noticed a large potential for good bouldering. Has anyone else noticed this or developed anything? Most boulderers that I know would probably complain that it is too long of an aproach, but I was hoping that someone would've checked it out.
