Wilderness Exchange Unlimited will be moving the retail store into the adjacent 5000 sq. ft. space at the corner of 15th and Platte in Denver, opening November 1, 2009. This will be our third move throughout our ten years in business down on Platte St. and 15th. The space we are moving into is in one of the most prime and visible locations on the street, and it's hard to imagine a better location in the city of Denver for Wilderness Exchange. We are all ecstatic with the prospect of moving into such a beautiful space, and are thankful to be a cornerstone of what has become Denver's "gear ghetto" of dedicated independent specialty gear shops down in our neighborhood.
Thank you all so very much for your support through the years- we're really looking forward to having you all down to party with us when the doors open! Jonah Howell will be screening the new Powder Whore movie "Flakes" on Saturday November 7 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets will be $10 and will go to help support these guys' powder habit. Avery Brewery will also be on hand to lubricate the celebration. Wilderness Exchange will be donating $1 for every attendee to the support the CAIC Benefit bash on November 15.

Our Annual Fall Gear Swap is going to take place at Saturday October 10 in the back parking lot behind the store. Mark your calendars! For those of you who haven't participated in the past, the Fall Swap is the biggie. Here's the dope:
Tables provided by WildyX free of charge. First come first served.
Many local sales reps (including many of you) will be on hand selling their sample sets at killer deals. If you have a branded EZ-up, we encourage you to bring it. With great exposure to I-25 and the R.E.I. parking lot, we'll blow it up once again!
Attendees are responsible for all payment, transactions, and pricing- there is no commission due to WildyX - so your loot is yours to keep.
The event will be heavily promoted in print advertising, in-store, online, and through our email list.
Set-up is between 9a.m. and 10 a.m. The Swap runs from 10-4.
And for those of you who have participated in the past, thanks for making this event what it is and we hope to see you again this year.
