Bent Gate Mountaineering is looking for employees who are passionate about the sports which are represented in our shops. Specifically, we sell products for climbers, back country skiers, mountaineers, backpackers, canyoneers, cyclists and other similar types of outdoor activities.
Bent Gate is a small, locally owned business, and employees will generally work in many varied positions, including assisting customers with questions, both in store and on the phone, fulfilling web orders, adding and removing products from our web site, merchandizing various product lines on the sales floor, re-stocking the sales floor with product, assisting in purchasing decisions, participating in demo days in order to use and become familiar with the various types of equipment that we sell, etc.
We are currently seeking one to two full-time persons to assist with many of these responsibilities and one to two part-time persons, for Sundays and evening hours. Generally full-time staff work four (4) ten-hour shifts. Health insurance benefits are available after working full-time for a three month period.
