I just took a friend's open spot on a team for the Colorado Relay starting on Sept. 11. I will be running legs 2, 12, and 22 out of the 30. This will be my first time doing this and I'm pretty freaking excited about it.

I'm also running the Xterra half marathon down in Colorado Springs at Cheyenne Mountain National Park on Oct. 3rd. This will also be another first, and again...pretty freaking excited about it.

Just wondering if anyone is also taking part in these races, the relay just seems like a completely awesome time. A possible carpool down to the springs could be in order as well for the 1/2.
