things are looking up
Any recommendations for clean aid routes in CO? I'm looking for some easyish stuff (experience = moonlight buttress and touchstone). I live in the northern front range, so stuff near there would be great, but any good route recommendations are appreciated. Feel free to mention non-clean routes if they are good intro-to-hammering routes. Thanks! Adam Sanders

Chris setting up the rappel in the Southeast Gully...
Howling at The Wind to Cheap Date to Outlander works really well. Its long enough that you get plenty of opportunities to learn how to be efficient and move fast, which is more important on Moonlight Buttress then being able to string together lots of marginal placements. Chris Sheridan

I'm looking to step up my aid abilities as well (with my sights on the Dunn Westbay for later this summer). I recall reading about a few clean aid routes on Twin Owls and there's a stellar looking route called Firebird on Sundance Buttress. Feel free to hit me up Adam, I haven't met many other folks interested in aid-climbing around here. Kevin Landolt
