Description
Cocks Comb is a ridge of cliffs south of Teasdale, Utah near Capitol Reef National Park. The area is very secluded and has some beautiful scenery. There are a few established routes on the cliffs as well as a bunch of small scrambles .Rock quality is softish Navajo, but featured.
Getting There
On the Teasdale Road, the Cockscomb Ridge is a well known landmark on the Teasdale Road Highway 12. At the Phillips 66 Gas Station in Torrey, drive South about 4.7 miles to the intersection of Highways 12 & 24. Now drive 1.9 miles to a turnoff to the left to a cluster of rocks and mini towers below the Cockscomb Ridge. Park at the turnabout 30 seconds from the rocks.
