inexcusable

If you have to shit in the maroon bells wilderness, bury it! There was shit on the surface every ten feet close to campsite 7 at Capitol Lake. I think these were probably the same people that left a shampoo bottle next to one of the most pristine alpine lakes I have seen, after presumably washing with it.

I'm sure this wasn't climbers, but it really pissed me off.

That's pretty gnarly. I have also experienced unburied piles in campsites around Maroon Lake.

Some folks just don't get it.

My buddy and I were looking to get up there in the near future, but looks pretty shitty right now. People who do this should not be allowed in public and continue to sit in front of the T.V. as they have no respect.

I still think Mike McHugh's photo of the fresh hot steamer wrapped in the Starbucks napkin with the slogan "Delicious!" printed on it wins. That was a climber and in Eldo. Shit Tail Peak?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
