They also haven't bothered updating their entry price either. The website says $12 per person to walk in, but plan on forking over $25 to an unsympathetic ranger. I was told that information on the website is "not reliable"; however, when you call their phone number a recorded message directs you to look at their website. |

The Headache (at the Tunnel Wall) is still open though surprisingly. Everything to the right of that and up to Kung Fu amphitheater is closed. In case you were wondering. I'd pay 25$ to climb that route. |

Daniel, I asked the Zion E entrance ranger today. He said that it's still $12 for a walk-in pass. Agree that per person that's high versus $25 for a van with 10 people but it's not $25. |

The ranger at the pay station that gave me the above information was a heavyset middle age woman. When I asked if she would be willing to let me in for $12, her answer was a flat no. Maybe I got ripped off, I don't know. I guess I was a little sore about the situation because the funds were tight and it meant no celebratory post climb beer. Regardless, tons of spectacular climbing open and it's not even too hot yet. |

I just got off the phone with Mindy in Zion National Park. She wasn't able to give a straight answer right away about how much walking in to the park costs. After putting me on hold for 5 minutes she returned and stated that anyone walking in from the Springdale entrance would be charged $25 despite what the website says. |
