Closest camping to the Uinta-Hayden trailhead?

So I'm pressed for time and haven't been able to properly research myself yet, but wondering if one of you fine folk could advise me:

Planning on doing some climbing on/around Hayden soon, wondering what the closest camping to the trailhead was. I'm assuming there's something on Mirror Lake Highway? I'm super unfamiliar with the Uintas, so any advice appreciated. Thanks.

You can essentially camp anywhere along Mirror Lake Highway. Make sure you get a permit on your way in. The only rules are, do not create a new spot or trail. If there's a preexisting camp spot you can use it, tread lightly and check current fire conditions.

If you would rather use a developed site Butterfly Lake Campground , located on the West side of Mirror Lake Highway. This is the closest to Highline and Hayden Peak trail head, this campground is first come first serve. There are primitive spots closer to the trail head on the East side of the road, very close to the trail head.

When are you planning on going? Butterfly lake campground is currently closed, I would expect it to be open soon, traditionally it opens first of July. I have not made it into the Uintas yet this season. Hopefully someone else can fill you in on current conditions.
