I posted in the international section, but not bites..
So just quickly does anyone have any thoughts on climbing in May in Thailand.. Both Northern and Southern..
Is it just too hot to even touch rock, or wet? temps right now seem to be over 100deg..
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.. Looking to be there May 7th to May 20th
thanks

It's hot. really hot. No matter where you are climbing, north or south, you will want to be climbing in the shade. Early mornings and dusk are the best time. If the rock has been in the sun, it will be to hot to touch. The south will be a little more manageable; the weather is a little less intense and you can spend lots of time in the water.
I spend a month climbing from mid april-mid may and found the climbing to be great. I spent the majority of the time in the south, but climbed a bit in the north. Enjoy the climbing and get up early.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
