going to camp at Acadia this weekend w/ some friends who don't climb. A few of them have minimal experience though.

Are there any top rope friendly climbs that i could set up for my friends easily that anyone would recommend?

Otter Cliffs has nice accessible top roping with gear anchors. The downside to Otter Cliffs is that climbers must climb back up to the top of the cliff or be hauled up. South Bubble had some good options for easy toprope setups. There are some low angle slabs there that should be good for beginners.

Second otter cliffs. Was there last summer and going back this summer. Easy setups. If your party doesn't feel comfortable rappelling you can lower them down. Obviously the belayer needs to be comfortable with top belay. Climbs are on the easy side. Really can't be beat as far as experience and ambiance. Your gonna have your friends hooked.

You can get a pocket guide to Otter Cliffs at Acadia Mountain Guides in Bar Harbor.

As you enter the clifftop area from the trail you can hook around to the right and there are a couple of shorter routes that go up from there. You can access the top of them from the trail.

The afternoon nature cruise out of Bass Harbor is highly recommended.

The Wonderland trail is a nice hike if you're down on the quiet side of the island.
