| The fact that you are all such easy suckers (otherwise known as low hanging fruit) makes trolling such a simple game to pass the time. Bored and want a little fun? Put a post out there about how my dad can kick your dad's ass and watch the fun begin. Yep I felt the satisfaction build as a giant smile spread across my face from all the havoc that ensued. I mean some dude got on the internet and posted photos of the gunks that weren't even his. You guessed it I've actually been to both places and it is only my 2 cents but Jtree hands down mostly for the reasons Eric listed. For one the dude is funny as hell in person (not so much through your posts though Eric). Since he is gone we wont have him to lead countless trips(hundreds last time I saw him) through the chasm without the headlamp the campground will miss that. | FLAG |

You are just TOO cool and you proved such a great point. First time a troll has ever worked in the history of the internet.... What was your point exactly? That you have to much time on your hands ever since your domestic partner Eric moved away? | FLAG |

| if you didnt know RockyMtnTed, Eric is the easiest of the low hanging fruit because I know he wears his heart on his sleeve. everybody who knows him loves him not just me. I knew he would take the bait because he loves jt so much(this thread was meant for him if you must know). FU if you dont have people like him in your life maybe the problem is you. By the way he would go out of his way to make sure you had fun and came home safe if you met him at jt whether you are an a-hole or not. | FLAG |

My second post contained two pictures that were not mine, one of the carriage road at the Gunks and one of the roadwork at Intersection Rock. But not to worry, they're all gone now. | FLAG |

| Rgold, those were great pics, thanks for sharing. Too bad so many people on this thread are toolbags | FLAG |

| I enjoyed the pictures too, and don't mind the occasional troll thread if it sparks discussion, as this one did. Personally, I love JTree the place, but don't care for the climbing. I don't like cracks to begin with, find runout slabs tedious and don't care for abrasive gritty rock. But obviously other people have different preferences. City of Rocks is similar but MUCH better, IMHO. JTree has 10,000 routes, of which 30 are worth climbing, while the Gunks has 1,000 routes, 800 of which are worth the effort. But camping is better at JTree. I think many Angelenos 'come of age' as climbers and as grown-ups while camping and climbing at JT, which biases them in favor of JT far beyond it's true merit. Good thing I already saved my favorites of those pics... Makes me want to visit Gunks. Thanks rgold. | FLAG |

| Rgold the guy who started this thread is a good friend of mine, but the joke was on me from the start and I didnt know it (he learned to climb at the gunks and I learned at Jtree). Turns out he and a few friends have been having a good laugh at my expense. I loved your pics and am sorry that your feelings are hurt. Take pleasure in knowing that until the dude swims in the ocean with actual natural floating ice up in Maine/Canada he will be taking shit from his buddies as that is the price he must pay for losing a bet unless he wants to be a "chickenshit" in our book. | FLAG |

| I don't care if its a troll; its a good question. But lots of places are good in October. In fact, everywhere is good in October. Why limit yourself to two choices? (BTW I myself was in the Gunks last October) | FLAG |
