Climbing partners needed!

Hey everyone,

I've had slim success trying to find partners online, but I keep trying nonetheless. Anyways, I'm trying to find climbers in the Vegas area. It don't matter if we climb local or road trips, I just want to get out there. The thought of not climbing two weekends in a row because I can't find partners is totaly lame and its going to make me crazy. After all, climbing is the reason I moved here! I don't like just showing up at crags looking for people, last time I did that the climbers were throwing rocks at their dogs.

Anyways, please respond only if you actually want to go rock climbing.

Regards,
-Dave

That's 'cause you either don't want to get up early or stay out late.( The weather is nice at certain times of the day in strategic locations in RR, but I know you must know that; you are a wonderful reference for seasonal location exposure, as I have found while browsing through the forums. Thanks for all the good tips!)

Hey,

I am going to be moving to the vegas area at the end of september. I dont know anyone out there, but i am already itching to climb at red rocks. Perhaps we could keep up correspondance. I have a fair amount of gear but i havent climbed in RR before. Anywho, by chance would you happen to know of a place I might look to stay? I will be working, so i will be gone every other week, but then i have a week at a time i need a place to stay. Lemme know what you think of the situation. Hopefully we can work out some climbing.

I will be working North of Las Vegas from August 10 through the 13 and will have a few hours in the evenings to climb. Due to my work location, I'm thinking that Mt. Charleston (Robber's Roost?) would be the best place for me to try to climb. I wasn't planning on bringing a rope or rack from home (I live in New Mexico), but could if needed. If anyone is looking for a partner for those dates and times, let me know. Thanks.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
