Yo,

Starting June 24th through August probably I'll be hanging around the valley.

This is my first visit to Yosemite. I'm not super solid at leading trad yet, I'm still down in the 5.8-5.9 maybe some 10s range. I could follow up to 11's.

I know I'm probably taking a risk by going without being super solid on leading 10's and higher.

Anyway I have a 70m rope and a double rack. I would be absolutely down to follow someone and share gear if necessary. But I would also be interested in meeting up with anyone who is down to climb some easier/more moderate stuff in the 9+ and below range.

If you want to split the cost of campsites at all I am game for that as well.

I know it's going to be hot but I'm ok with that. I don't know much more about Yosemite and I am basically taking a leap of faith by taking this trip and kind of just seeing what happens. Could suck, maybe not.

Advice for that time of year? Head up to Tuolumne (also in the Yosemite NP). You will likely have an easier time finding partners up there during your stated time frame and you won't wish that you were dead because of the heat (climbing in the sun in the Valley during August is painful to say the least). Try the bulletin board at the Tuolumne store.
