Hey! I'm looking for partners for bouldering sport and trad in Tahoe and Donner Pass over the next month. Moving to the area for a bit and have plenty of gear and pads. I have a lot of experience exploring and climbing here, it was a home for a while. Anything goes, just looking for a good time. Available most afternoons and evenings, safety first. Thanks!

Hey man, text me at 801-859-8721. Definitely looking for people to climb with. I recently moved out to Berkeley from Salt Lake.

Hey Adamjes. My name is Glen. I live in Truckee. I'm a new leader. Working on getting faster on the 5-easy's. I can top-rope or follow at 5.9 or so. I spend a lot of time up at the summit, mostly top-rope soloing. I have all the toys and have every Fri, Sat, and Sun off. If you don't mind climbing with a fledgling, I would be stoked! You can reach me at (530) 414-3647. Cheers, Glen
PS. No text please.

Hey, I will be in the area Sept 17th-20th. Can lead cracks up to 5.8, sport up to hard 10, easy 11. Shoot me a message, I would be down to climb. Especially easy cracks, I need the practice! (too oh eight) 863 4676.

Hey man,

I am actively looking for a or multiple climbing partners from the 8th of november to the 20th. I am visiting my family and am from France. Since I don't really know the area in terms of outdoor climbing I thought it would be cool to be accompanied by someone more acquainted with the location and it seems to be the case for you :-)

I've been actively climbing for 5 years, mostly on bolted sport routes (since most of the crags are bolted in france). I am a quite experienced leader since I have always lead-climbed and can easily lead up to 5.10d and probably get it up there with pain up to 5.11a/b according to my grade translator :-) (6b and c routes in the french system).

I have little to know experience in trad climbing. I did practice one time to place cams on one route but that's about it so I would very much enjoy trad climbing on multi-pitch routes in the area.

Regards,

William Nicolas

If you are ok with some smoke, it will be ok. I was there last weekend. Was kind of bad early morning on Saturday, than cleared up completely for a bit, than it returned to cover up the sun but it was not present down low so breathing was fine. It is up to the winds...which change without much notice at times.
I would go again without worrying too much. In the worst case the air quality won't be perfect...no big deal really, for me at least.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
