I am in Boulder for the WPTC conference and have one day for some fun after the conference is over on the 16th of May. I am looking for someone or a pair of people to climb with. My preference would be some of the long and relatively easy classics of the area although I am flexible (although not physically flexible...). Don't have a car. Will bring my harness, shoes and personal gear but you bring rope and rack.
I am from the UK and have on sighted routes up to E1 but that's on a good day and I don't believe I will be leading stuff of that difficulty on account of lack of recent trad climbing. I have climbed in Yosemite and generally stuff up to 5.8 was pretty cool and I started to struggle to get first time 5.9s and above. Here are some things I have climbed that are kinda the highlights: Forbes on Aiguille du Chardonnet, Traverse of Les Courtes, Contamine Grisolle, South Face of Washington column, Royal arches route, East buttress of middle cathedral, Strappotente (froggart edge), Millsons minion (Stanage edge).
So yeah climbing looks great and I think I would have more fun with a local than just soloing...
Also know about the raptor closures so I guess lots of the super classics are out?
