Climbing on the SHT, Fault Line Ridge?

So, I was looking at doing some climbing on the SHT. I've seen info on Section 13 and saw mill dome, but I was wondering if there is decent climbing on the other cliffs in the area. Particularly I was thinking of Fault line ridge. I am game for figuring it out on my own, but if someone knows its a waste of time it'd be nice to know before hand.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Kevin
Back in the mid to late 80's myself and several friends did some scouting, cleaning, and climbing in the area. the south side of Lax Lake and west of Finland are the only specifics I can remember but there were others. We even found a rusty pin on the Lax Lake cliff. They were mostly north facing and heavily vegetated.

Remember we did this with an 80's perspective. Go out and have a look around. You may find gold or a cool private place to hang out. Adventure can only happen with an open mind!

By the way, maybe your a cousin of mine.

Thanks Pete,

The adventure is going to happen. I am just working on figuring out the specifics of it so I can try to get a group together from SCSU to go. I just don't want the trip to bomb because not everyone is enthusiastic as I am.

As for being cousins that would be sweet. My grandfather, Beldon, moved all around and I don't know where he is from, but I know I have older generations of relatives in New Mexico, Virginia and West Virginia, but I have no idea where their children on down ended up.

Just tell the folks what you want to do. Those who are interested will go. After the trip you'll know who to invite for round 2.

As for the cousins thing. The Scott name in my family has been traced back to before the Revolutionary War so far. So let's just say we are cousins. Gotta be a connection somewhere along the line.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
