I've recently heard that there is limestone climbing in the Pecos River Gorge nearby the Highway 90 bridge over the gorge. Does anybody know anything about this? Is it all bolted up? Do you have to rap in? How are the lines? I'm headed that way in the spring and would like any info available.

Never been there but this might be a good place to start:

I'm pretty sure I remember hearing recently that the Continental Ranch was closed to climbing. I could be mistaken so you better call first. Good luck.

I haven't been there in years myself, so it would be nice to hear what the situation is.

It might be curtains for Continental Ranch...Access Fund is on it.

I climbed there last spring and it was simply amazing...

I check with a friend that works at Camp Eagle close to the Continental Ranch and he confirmed that it is indeed closed to climbing.
