Climbing Mont Blanc this Summer to Raise Money for Diabetics Worldwide

My name is Andrew Plagens and I will be traveling to Chamonix to climb Mont Blanc at the Chamonix Mountain Festival in June. I will be climbing with British alpinist Jerry Gore and a group of fellow Type 1 Diabetics. The aim of the climb is to raise money for an organization called Insulin For Life which provides doctors, insulin and testing supplies for diabetics in countries where these resources may not be available. Just so I'm clear on this:

The first $4000 that you raise pays for your climbing trip. Anything you raise over that goes to charity. Is that correct?

Out of the $4000 about $1370 will go directly to IFL and the rest will go to the trip. Once in Chamonix people will be able to donate to the cause with a goal of raising 10,000 euros for Insulin For Life, namely a program in Ecuador.
