I'm heading through Idaho on a road trip next week. Looking for advice on where to go climb. Trad or sport climbing doesn't matter which. I just want to have a blast and climb some epic routes

Depending on time and partners, you have a bunch of options... it's a big state.

Elephants Perch - Sawtooths, alpine rock (IMO, your best bet for epic routes in the state).
City of Rocks - mostly single pitch trad and sport
Riggins - hard sport on limestone (some mostly manufactured lines)

There is also a ton of hard sport climbing in the pan handle around Coeur D'Alene (most of it is actually in WA, i.e. Deep Creek, Metaline Falls, Marcus, etc)

I'm thinking I'll stay and climb for 4 days. Could stay longer possibly. No partners yet. I'll have to track some down once I get there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
