Climbing in Hawaii?

May have an opportunity to move to Hawaii for several months and I was wondering if anyone has been climbing in Maui? I looked thru MP and Summit post and there isn't much info. It seems like maybe it's just undeveloped, not that there's a lack of climbing. Any personal experience?

I have scoped out some stuff and done some stuff over on the south side.
I have some photos that I have taken as well.
My only issue is the ocean here is WORLD CLASS.
The climbing is NOT.
There is another guy on MP that is interested also.
Maybe we can hook up when you get over here.
There's a thread in the other sports section about climbing on Maui.
Aloha, Olaf

Olaf thanks I'd love to go explore the island if I make it. Right now it's about an 80% chance. I'm have my open water scuba so I'd love to hook up and dive if you dive? I will keep in touch and PM you in the next month when I know for sure.

I'm in Maui right now for work. I brought my climbing shoes with the idea I could do some bouldering but the reality is that the ocean is much more alluring. I got myself a surfboard. I'm open water certified, too, so I've been thinking about going diving also. It looks as if there may be some climbable stuff here, but I haven't checked it out.

There is not really any established climbing on Maui, sorry. We have some on Oahu though, come here instead.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
